Supports Latino parents in preventing substance and alcohol use among children and youth starting at age 10.
The workshops are offered in Spanish and provide culturally appropriate information and tools to help families discuss difficult topics and support the well-being of children and youth.
The program is offered in person, once a week for seven weeks at County public schools, and includes complementary coaching sessions.
The program addresses topics such as:
- Substance use prevention
- Risky behaviors
- Ways to protect your children
- Tools to improve family communication
